…and that is it, actually. I watch movies rather than series =) But I miss Firefly. I want my Firefly. Stupid Fox.

And no, whatever you do in life, never watch any episodes of Veronica Mars out of order. Ever. EVER. Better not to have seen them at all.

(Also, I actually bought season 5 first, and filled the hole in the beginning later. If you had season 5 of something you would have done the same. Of course, you’d never have season 5 of something without having the four others first…)

Scrubs is on TV, but when I started buying the DVDs, they were absent. Now, it’s a matter of keeping up the collection. I tend to miss the TV-showings anyway.

House was more of a fluke, I had money, I had good grades and I was looking to celebrate, and since I’d missed the beginning of the season, it seemed like a good choice.

And then, there is that whole “I like watching TV shows on DVD much better than watching them on TV” thing.

As for why I don’t buy the others; Firefly seems like a dead end. I’ve seen them all, not too long ago, and they didn’t get to go long enough to relly get brilliant, so it ends up way down on the list of priorities. Carnivale is fun, but not so much fun that I want to own copies, and I’ve never even seen Veronica Mars. I think I was channel deprived when it premiered, and by the time that was fixed, it was almost the end of the season, which isn’t any place to begin watching.

I meant all that in reference to SG-1 post season 4.

Before that, you did buy bad shows. Or one bad show, anyhow.

What the flying sod-crap is up with prioritizing mediocrity like SG:A and SG-1 over brilliance like “Firefly” or “Battlestar Galactica” and, let’s face it, even though I love Laurie to pieces, rather repetitive formula-quality like “House, MD” over innovative complexity “Veronica Mars” or “Carnivale”?!

It’s not that you’re buying bad shows, you’re buying good shows, I just don’t see what’s going on in your head when you make the call on which shows you’d rather use money on – the good or the awesome.

You do realize, of course, that you now must die.

Boo Fiss! How can you even spend money on that show? It is perhaps the least funny so-called “comedy show” ever. Still, good to hear that you haven’t changed since last year when it comes to buying stuff you don’t really need, but need anyway.
